Assistive Devices
We provide assistive devices to enable CwDs participate in
life happily at School, home and in the community.
Some of our CwDs need locally made assistive device to
support themselves at home and at school.
These assistive devices are made locally by Sengerema Physiotherapy
project and they are distributed to CwDs. For example one of our CwD Kulwa
Thomas is using walker let made locally.
We support devices depending on the type of disability. To
mention but a few, this includes Embossers, Brail Machines, Thermoforms,
Binoculars, White canes, Wheel chairs and many others.
In the picture Audiology taking place in Sengerema Special
needs Unit. We need to construct audiology room because this audiometry is done
in the ordinary room which reduce efficiency of recording hearing waves.
